The Prospect League All-Star Game is coming to Springfield, Illinois
The Prospect League All-Star Game returns and will be hosted at Robin Roberts Satdium in Springfield, Illinois in July 2025.
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are excited to announce that the Prospect League All-Star game is back and will be held at Historic Robin Roberts Stadium in 2025. The game is scheduled for July 8, 2025.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host the 2025 Prospect League All Star Fest here in Springfield. We look forward to showcasing Illinois’s capital city and continuing our efforts to have a positive economic impact on our community,” says Chief Storyteller Jamie Toole.
The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes and the city of Springfield are excited to bring this amazing event to Springfield! The last Prospect League All-Star game occurred in 2019 in Normal, Illinois.
“The return of the All-Star Game is a significant milestone in the Prospect League’s continued ascent,” said Commissioner David Brauer. “With a track record of success and support, the League is confident that Springfield and the Lucky Horseshoes will do an outstanding job in providing a great experience to the attending fans and talented collegiate players involved.”
The ‘Shoes are excited for all the events that will come with the All-Star Fest! The fest will include an alumni game, home run derby, and a luncheon, to meet the players, leading up to the big event! The community of Springfield and the ‘Shoes are excited and ready to bring this event back to Springfield, Illinois!
